All the ordering I have done from Military Best has been very prompt and professional but one instance stands out in my mind. When ordering a hat for myself I informed them that I took a 7 1/2 to 7 3/4. They took it upon themselves to order me a special hat just as the Air Force had to do in 1952. There was no provision for sending a gift, so I'm worried that something got shipped exposing the price and no proper card saying who the gift was from ... I can't comment on delivery because the gift hasn't been acknowledged ... but I did get a notice that it was shipped.

Shipping took longer than I expected, but the items I ordered are things that I could not find anywhere else. My Dad was in the Navy and was trianed in radar and as a tail gunner in the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver. It is very important to him that any navy items refer to his status as 'U.S. Naval Air Force', not as merely 'U.S. Navy'. I was disappointed that I could not find him a hat with the ' US Naval Air Force' patch on it, so I will have to find a hat and sew this patch on it. Also, it is a surprise gift for him, so I could not ask him directly about what other patches or items would be appropriate for his Naval experience. Once he has this gift, I will be able to get more information and probably will return to MilitaryBest.com to see if they have anything else my Dad would like. He is very proud of his military service, and I am very proud of him!
