This mini Philippean Independence Medal is available for all services and was instituted in 1946. This medal is issued to those in receipt of both the Philippine Defense and Liberation Medals/Ribbons. This award was originally awarded to those present for duty in the Philippines on 4 July 1946.Holders for mini medals are sold separately and can be added to your purchase from the drop down menu.
