Our Philippine Independence Medal Ribbon is available for all services and was instituted in 1946. This medal is issued to those in receipt of both the Philippine Defense and Liberation Medals/Ribbons. This award was originally awarded to those present for duty in the Philippines on 4 July 1946.Ribbon holders/bars are sold separately and can be purchased in addition to your ribbon by selecting the drop down arrow above.
