This Vietnam Wounded Medal Ribbon is awarded in all services and was instituted in 1953. It is awarded to all military personnel who had been wounded in action and to government officials wounded in the line-of-duty by the enemy or rebels.Ribbon holders/bars are sold separately and can be purchased in addition to your ribbon by selecting the drop down arrow above.
